Before you order a Thatcham tracker
How do I know if I need S7 or S5?
Read the tracker clause on your insurance schedule. If it only says Thatcham-approved, S7 usually meets it. If it names S5 or Category 5, fit S5 or S5 PLUS.
Will insurers accept the certificate?
Every system we supply is Thatcham-certified S7, S5 or S5 PLUS. A digital certificate is issued when the job is finished and is recognised by major UK insurers including Admiral, LV=, Direct Line, Aviva, AXA, Churchill and Hastings.
Do you fit nationwide?
Yes. More than 250 Thatcham-accredited engineers cover UK postcodes. Appointments are at home or work. Free fitting is available in major areas.
How fast is the certificate issued?
The official digital certificate is available in the app as soon as the engineer signs the job off.
What is the difference between S5 and S5 PLUS?
S5 adds Automatic Driver Recognition to the S7 tracking spec. S5 PLUS adds engine immobilisation on top of S5.
